Julie
Crossman
Julie
brings to the teaching of Daoyin Tao® a great enthusiasm
and passion, not only for the therapy, but also for the

her professional and personal qualities which make her
ideally suited to help carry Daoyin Tao® forward.
An experienced
therapist and teacher, Julie offers insightful teaching
that responds to the group needs and is well received.
Julie spent over two years being personally trained by
Anna-Louise and has dedicated untold hours to helping make
Daoyin Tao® the success it is today.
Julie
is a highly trusted and integral member of the Daoyin Tao® team
and at present is the only recognised teacher along with
Anna-Louise.
Judith Watson
Judith Watson is a fully qualified practitioner. After over
20 years’ teaching in Cleveland, UK she had to take
medical retirement following a road accident, and decided
to follow her life-long interest in natural health care.
She graduated with Distinction from the British School of
Reflexology, after a yearlong professional course, being
taught by Anna-Louise Haigh, who subsequently introduced
her to Daoyin Tao®, which in Autumn 2008 she will be
teaching from the clinic in Whitby. She has also completed
post-graduate qualifications in Aromatherapy and Nutrition.
Most recently she has qualified in The Bowen Technique, and
is finding this to be very effective in a wide range of conditions.
She studied with the European College of Bowen studies, and
is already following additional post-graduate courses to
extend her knowledge.
Post graduate training has focussed on the prevention and
treatment of sports injuries, use of Bowen with children,
and more in-depth studies of anatomy and physiology, with
detailed analysis of body systems. A certificate in using
Hopi Ear candles, either as a stand alone treatment or with
an accompanying massage, has recently been added to her repertoire.
She has successfully completed a course in Kinesiology, enabling
her to test a wide range of muscles to find imbalances in
the body which can lead to ill-health; she is also able to
advise on and prescribe nutritional supplements, and test
for food intolerances. In order to advance her massage skills,
she has recently qualified in Thermal Stone Massage and Chinese
Foot Massage.
Helen Richardson
Helen has been a practising therapist for over 16 years
working as a beauty therapist, Spa Manager and Perfumery
manager before setting up the Therapeutic Massage Clinic
in 2000. The Clinic was set up to provide relief for those
with deep muscle tension, soft tissue injuries and stress
related conditions. The focus was on providing high standards
of treatment and aftercare with the most effective treatment
combination for each individual. The clinic has since extended
the therapies offered to assist a wider range of people with
a more varied range of conditions. The clinic now offers
Indian Head Massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, Hopi ear
candles, Thermal Stone Therapy and of course Daoyin Tao.
Over the years Helen has worked with professional and amateur
sports and media personnel and has experience in cancer
care; arthritis care; back, neck and shoulder pain; sporting
injuries;
migraine and headaches and stress related illness. She
has been involved in promotional and media work as well
being
asked to write for local and national press. Aside from
running the clinic Helen has lectured in complementary
therapies
since 2001 and now runs a school in Gateshead offering
ITEC training and CPD for therapists.
Being one of only a handful of Daoyin Tao tutors is an
exciting opportunity to promote this wonderful therapy
that has not
only led Helen to be able to assist more people in more
situations but has taken her on a different personally
fulfilling journey.
