Course : 2009 Course in GATESHEAD/Whitby !!! Description The Daoyin Tao course is presented in THREE modules. MODULE ONE - FOUNDATION MODULE - is comprised of 15-20 hours of HOME STUDY which covers the main theory components of this therapy. An enrolment deadline exists to allow you sufficient time to complete the correspondence course manual provided before progressing. Please allow no less than four weeks to complete this section. Please see the enrolment deadline as listed for this course. MODULE TWO - PRACTITIONER DEVELOPMENT - This module requires you to attend the training venue for each of the dates listed. During your training you will apply the theory you learned during the Foundation Module along with developing and supporting your growth towards a successful Daoyin Tao Practitioner by increasing your knowledge. By the end of this module you will be able to create highly effective individualised treatments for your the clients. This module is taught in a way that continually monitors and guides your development in a positive, nurturing and professional way. THERE IS NO FINAL WRITTEN EXAM!!! MODULE THREE - CASE STUDIES - Once you have completed the first two modules you are required to complete 4 treatments with 4 volunteers ideally over a 4 week period. Your case study work is then submitted to your tutor for review prior to graduation. The cost below is for the full course. Your deposit secures your place and the balance can be paid in installments. The course is FULLY ACCREDITED and attracts insurance from all the main Associations. Students are required to hold a qualification in a 'hands-on therapy' including the study of Anatomy and Physiology. YOUR MAIN TUTORs will be Helen Richardson and Judith Watson who are both excellent teachers and were initially trained in the practice of Daoyin Tao by its Originator, Anna-Louise Haigh. Now, after gathering several years experience these two enthusiastic teachers have been personally chosen by Anna-Louise to help continue the success of this amazing therapy. You will find yourself in good hands under their caring and skillful guidance which will make your learning enjoyable and invaluable to your career.
